About JC

J.C. is a bilingual voice actor whose work spans audiobooks, industrial videos, commercials, radio, and video games. He has lent his voice to projects for major companies such as Amazon, Anheuser-Busch, New York Life, and the Los Angeles County Department of Human Resources.

He received voiceover training at Bang Zoom! Entertainment under Tony Oliver and further developed his skills at Del Mar Media Arts in Irvine, CA. studying with instructors Bud Barth, Bunny Barth, Robert Gunton, and Disney Animation Casting Director David Wright. J.C. has also worked as an on-screen talent for Chevrolet and the California Commission on Peace Officer Standards & Training.

Outside of voice acting, J.C. works as a high AVID Excel/Emerge teacher and English Language Learner Development program coordinator. He holds a bachelor’s degree in English Education from Cal State Long Beach, along with certifications in curriculum writing and AVID instruction. J.C. is also a dedicated varsity esports coach—leading his teams to four California state and regional championships through the CIF Esports Initiative and NASEF x PlayVS in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. He also coaches competitive squads in Splatoon 3, Street Fighter 6, Marvel Rivals, Fortnite, Overwatch 2, Brawlhalla, and Pokémon UNITE.

On his free time, J.C. loves spending time with his wife and two daughters, cooking, and traveling.
